Golder Trust for Orphans Coffee Fundraiser

Laura Hampson has been thrilled with their fundraisers benefitting Golder Trust for Orphans. The charity is employee-run through Golder Associates. They aim is to improve the lives of children orphaned or displaced by the AIDS pandemic, by partnering with existing NGOs (non-governmental organizations).

Golder Trust heard about Global Coffee after one of their employees used GCF for their sports team fundraiser. The coffee was so delicious and reasonably priced that the group wanted to try a fundraiser of their own!

Golder Trust was set up with their own site, which allowed those supporting the fundraiser to order and pay online. Given they’re raising money in a pandemic, the group appreciated the option to have the coffee delivered straight to people’s homes.
Laura says those who supported them were very happy with their coffee. Some people even used their custom named “The Kids are Alright” coffee as Christmas gifts for teachers.
Global Coffee Fundraising accommodated some last-minute requests by the Golder team, which was appreciated.
Then once the orders were finalized, Laura says they received the donations quickly and were able to pass them right on to Golder Trust for Orphans.
Did Golder reach their goal?
“We surpassed it! On both occasions! People were very impressed with the options offered and the quality of the fresh roasted coffee provided for the price.” – Laura Hampson
Golder says they’ll definitely be doing another round of coffee fundraising with Global Coffee soon.
